The Game is being sued by five US police officers, who he claimed treated him like Rodney King when he was arrested in a shopping mall last year.
The defamation lawsuit was filed by the North Carolina cops at the Guildford County Courthouse this week, alleging libel, slander and image misappropriation.
Hien Nguyen, Matthew Brown, Ryan Childrey, Romaine Watkins and David Gregory are understood to have been angered by comments given by The Game to a TV interviewer following his arrest last October.
The rapper, real name Jayceon Taylor, apparently made comparisons to the infamous beating administered to King by US police officers, insisting he was arrested for signing autographs.
The officers have also been critical of the release of a DVD featuring them during the incident, which claims to show The Game "being wrongfully arrested and brutalized by the police in North Carolina."
