Six months on from the fire that nearly destroyed it, Camden Town is fighting back with its own brand of entertainment, 'TurningLondonOn' to encourage Londoners to revisit the district at the heart of London's music, shopping, cultural and creative scene. To celebrate this The River Rat Pack and Antzinthejam Productions are putting on a unique event on Sunday 28th September to mark the 'Turning London On' experience.
3 bands will be performing an hour long set atop a barge travelling down Camden Lock. Headlining will be The Holloways, whose strong connection with Camden makes them the perfect choice. They all reside in North London and they have played many a gig at Koko and the Proud Gallery as well as being a part of the Camden Crawl last year. They have built up a strong fan base after the success of singles 'Happiness and Penniless' and 'Generator'. The Holloways' 'SINNERS & WINNERS' EP is available for exclusive download on October 27th www.myspace.com/theholloways. They are supported by up and coming band SixNationsState www.myspace.com/sixnationstatetheband, who also performed at the Camden Crawl and also Nat Jenkins. This will be an experience that no music fan would want to miss. www.myspace.com/theriverratpack
