The Kooks pull dates

The Kooks have been forced to cancel several of their current UK tour dates after Luke Pritchard came down with laryngitis.

The dates affected include last night's hometown Brighton show and the shows in Southampton (30/09), Norwich (01/10), Newcastle (02/10) and Leeds (03/10).

Pritchard has been advised by doctors to rest for six days but the band to plan to honour the commitments and plan to reschedule all the dates.

Speaking about the cancellations the band said: "We are truly upset to all of the fans who have been waiting since May to see these shows."
