The Lemonheads return, for their first shows in eight years, with two sold out performances at London's Shepherds Bush Empire on Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th September.
These shows are part of ATP's series of ‘Don't Look Back Concerts', which sees bands playing a classic album from their back catalogue in it's entirety. The Lemonheads will be performing their fifth album It's A Shame About Ray from 1992.
The Lemonheads recently played at the Benicassim Festival in Spain (August 6th) to a rapturous reception; they also play at the Across The Pond Festival in Staten Island on October 2nd. Their eighth album is very near completion and is set for release early next year, songs already recorded for the album include Pittsburgh, Black Gown and Become The Enemy.
The Lemonheads have released seven albums: Hate Your Friends (1987), Creator (1988), Lick (1989), Lovey (1990), It's a Shame About Ray (1992), Come On Feel The Lemonheads (1993), Car Button Cloth (1996).
