The Lemonheads to play Somerset House

The Lemonheads have announced they will be performing at Somerset House on Sunday 16th July. They will also be appearing at the Latitude Festival in Henham Park, Southwold, Suffolk on Friday 14th July.

Having signed to Vagrant Records (distributed through Polydor in the UK)in May, The Lemonheads release a new album in late September. Tracks ear-marked for the LP include: Become The Enemy, Let's Just Laugh, Black Gown, Baby's Home and December.

Singer, songwriter, and guitarist Evan Dando co-produced the album with drummer Bill Stevenson (Descendents, Black Flag), and the band is rounded out with bass player Karl Alvarez (Descendents). NYC-based Dando self-funded the project and has been recording in Stevenson's Colorado studio off and on during the last year.

The Lemonheads have released seven albums: Hate Your Friends (1987), Creator (1988), Lick (1989), Lovey (1990), It's a Shame About Ray (1992), Come On Feel The Lemonheads (1993), Car Button Cloth (1996).
