The Maccabees have announced their first headline gig of the year - at Liverpool's O2 Academy. Dates and ticket details are below.
The band are already set to support Kasabian on their UK tour in November and December, but will now be playing their own show on 18 November in Liverpool.
The show will act as a warm-up to their Kasabian support slot, and will also feature previews of new music from their forthcoming album, which they describe as "nearing completion.
It'll be a warmup for our UK tour with Kasabian, and also the 1st time we play some new songs from the 4th album which is nearing completion
Speaking to NME earlier this year, the band spoke of their frustration with the album's progress, saying: "We started the record at the beginning of 2013. We went into the studio with the idea that it was going to be finished by now. And we've finished two songs."
