The Metros 'Night Out For A Tenner’

Lippy Peckham upstarts The Metros release their debut single 'Education Pt. 2' through 1965 Records on 17th March.

Produced by Baxter Dury, the single will be available as an Enhanced CD, standard seven inch and seven inch picture disc. The standard seven inch format will feature a cover of 'Gabrielle', originally released by Shane MacGowan's first band, The Nipple Erectors.

The Metros, who embark on a headline tour in February, have announced details of an alternative Valentines Day bash. Billed as a 'Night Out For A Tenner', fans can purchase tickets for… you've guessed it… a tenner, that entitles them to pie, mash and liquor, entry to the band's Amersham Arms gig, a free drink and three alternative downloadable versions of their debut single 'Education Pt.2'.
