The Ordinary Boys are soldiering on with their UK tour despite frontman Preston having an injured foot.
The singer bruised the bone on his foot during a chaotic show at Hull Adelphi on Wednesday night. He is now defying doctors orders and ploughing on with the tour after being advised not to walk on the foot.
Preston told NME.COM: "Everyone was going mental and I just went a bit too far. I was stomping my foot down repetitively and I bruised my bone. But I'm gonna carry on the tour anyway, I'm just gonna take it easy."
"But if I get another gig like last night, everyone throwing themselves about and getting nosebleeds I'll probably have to go along with it. I just wanna soldier on and make it as mental as I can. The show must go on, as they say."
Preston wanted to complete the band's biggest headline shows to date because of the crowd reactions: "A lot of the dates have been up north and I find the further north you go, the less the crowd just sit there casting their opinion, they just go to gigs because they wanna dance and wanna have a good time."
The band are opening all dates of the NME Britpack Tour this month. The dates are as follows:
Brighton Concorde (March 17)
Leicester Charlotte (18)
Newcastle Northumbria University (21)
Manchester University (22)
Liverpool Carling Academy 2 (23)
