The Pogues will be celebrating their 30th anniversary this year with two already sold-out shows in September at the famous Olympia venue in Paris.
The shows will be filmed and recorded for a live 'Best Of' album and DVD which will be released through Polydor on Monday November 12th 2012.
The shows will feature the full band line-up of Shane MacGowan, Spider Stacey, Jem Finer, James Fearnley, Andrew Ranken, Phillip Chevron, Terry Woods & Darryl Hunt.
The final track-listing of the album is still to be confirmed, but will feature a selection of their acclaimed catalogue including the likes of Streams of Whiskey, Boys From The County Hell, Rainy Night in Soho, Sally MacLennane, The Sickbed of Cuchulainn, Fairytale of New York and The Broad Majestic Shannon.
The Pogues formed in 1982 and released seven hugely acclaimed albums before splitting up in 1996. The band re-formed to play live shows in 2001 and have been playing regularly since.
