The Streets have scored a number one in both the official single and album charts this week (July 25).
Mike Skinner shot straight to the top spot with the single 'Dry Your Eyes' tonight, while 'A Grand Don't Come For Free' rose from last week's number two position to hit number one in the album rundown.
Other new singles debuting inside the Top Twenty came from Lou Reed in at ten with 'Satellite Of Love', Estelle's '1980' at 14, Styles And Breeze's 'Your Shining' at 19 and 'Let's Get It Started' from Black Eyed Peas in at 20.
Ash also entered the countdown with 'Starcrossed' at 22, Marques Houston feat. Jermaine's 'Pop That Booty' hit 23, while The Cure's 'The End Of The World' went in at 25. Matt Goss charted with 'Fly' at 31 and Badly Drawn Boy's 'Year Of The Rat' sneaked in at 38.
The Hives' latest album 'Tyrannosaurus Hives' debuted at number seven, while other new LP entries came from Van Halen's 'The Best Of Both Worlds' (15), Shaznay Lewis's 'Open' (22), The Zutons's 'Who Killed The Zutons?' (38) and Modest Mouse's Good News For People Who Love Bad News' (40).
