As Mike ‘The Streets' Skinner prepares to release the follow-up to his critically acclaimed debut album ‘Original Pirate Material', his first full headlining UK tour in six months has just been announced.
Skinner has spent most of last year working on the follow-up to his debut, including a much heralded collaboration with Coldplay's Chris Martin.
Five new Streets songs were debuted at a one-off gig at the London Astoria (February 3) including 'Dry Your Eyes', 'Blinded By The Light', 'Could Be Well In', 'It Was Supposed To Be So Easy' and new single entitled 'Fit But You Know It', but now a full six date UK tour has been announced.
'Fit But You Know It' is released on April 26 and the as yet untitled new album is out May 10.
