Having finally got the last of the mud from this summer's festivals out of their turn ups Firebrand Live, the UK's largest independent music merchandiser, are back on the road already in support of several new and existing clients.
In the case of The Streets, whose tour in support of latest album 'Everything Is Borrowed' begins next week, Firebrand will be taking their printing press along for the ride. Taking inspiration from the album's title fans will be able to bring along their own t-shirts and hoodies and have The Street's cigarette lighter logo professionally stamped onto it, instantly turning that faded old Rick Astley top into a slice of cutting edge pop culture.
Costing the fan only £5, this innovative idea not only develops the concept behind the album but delivers to the fans a unique item of memorabilia at a credit-crunch-busting price and is typical of the kind of creative thinking behind Firebrand's work.
Whilst the Firebrand presses are busy on tour with The Streets, the company are also out in support of several of their other clients. Just getting under way is a massive five month UK tour with comedy superstars The Mighty Boosh, whilst they are half way though a tour with one of their newest clients indie-popsters The Ting Tings and readying to head off on the road with Liverpool's The Zutons this November.
Plans are also in the pipeline to support the February '09 arena tour for long time clients Kaiser Chiefs, and with Firebrand's first major activity with Keane servicing their latest tour, the company are looking at a busy autumn. Further announcements due before what is expected to be a strong Christmas leave Firebrand Live poised to cement their place as Europe's leading independent merchandiser.
