Overview
A spokesman has confirmed The Strokes will play V, which takes place in Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in Stafford in August (21-22).
Speaking to Radio 1, Albert Hammond Jr said they wanted to play an English festival they hadn't played before.
He revealed: 'We just thought it would be more exciting to play stuff we hadn't played before, you know? I know that might seem weird. Even if we came back and said 'Oh, we didn't like it,' at least we tried it, you know?'
