The Strokes have revealed a release date, title and first single for their forthcoming album.
Guitarist Albert Hammond Jr spoke to Rolling Stone about their fourth album, currently titled Angles and set for a March 21st release.
He said that the album title reflects 'what the record sounds like. It comes from five different people'.
He also mentioned song titles, including 'Life Is Simple', 'Taken for a Fool', 'Call Me Back', 'Radio Minor Madness', 'Machu Picchu' and a song called 'Undercover Of Darkness' which is mooted to be the first single.
The band recorded at Hammond's New York studio after scrapping recordings with White Stripes and Shins producer Joe Chicarelli.
Even though it has been five years since their last album, First Impressions Of Earth, Hammond also said the band plan to release albums more regularly.
