On 29th June The Sunshine Underground are upping sticks from the heart of New Yorkshire for a day at the seaside. The band will play The Suncourt within the Scarborough Spa, an amzing art deco band stand right on the seafront. The show will start early with support from the under-rated The Hair before TSU take to the stage. Following the gig, all those who've attended will get free entry to the after-show party at Vivaz where the band themselves will be taking to the decks with FC Kahuna who they've just finished recording their debut album, Raise The Alarm, with. The album, due for release in late August will be precede by a single, Put You In Your Place on August 21st.
The band are keen for their loyal Leeds following not to miss out on this show (and the chance of a toffee apple) so are laying on coaches that'll pick people up in Leeds, take them to the show and then bring them home again at the end of the after-show party.
So don your ‘kiss me quick' hat, put on your dancing shoes and get yourself along to sunny Scarborough for what is promising to be one of the gigs of the summer. Tickets are available in Leeds from Crash and Jumbo and in Scarborough from Vivaz and Mojo's Music Café. You can also get tix online at www.seetickets.comdocument.write(unescape("
