City Rockers have teamed up with The Aftershow to put on a night at Sankey's as part of this years 'In The City'. Showcasing City Rockers management roster, the show is set for Sunday 21st October and bound to be one of the highlights of a hectic few days.
· The Sunshine Underground headline and are billed to debut a full set of tracks from their yet-to-be-recorded second album.
· Zane Lowe and Steve Lamacq favourites Middleman continue to support their growing live reputation and appear in support of new single 'Good To Be Back' (set for release on 26th November through Bad Sneakers).
· Glasgow's latest electronic export Big Face play in anticipation of their soon-to-be-released debut 'I Wanna Be A Style Crusader' on French trend setting label Kitsune.
· Hush The Many (Heed The Few) continue where they left off from supports with Fields and Ed Harcourt and will be previewing new single 'Revolve'.
· Pete Denton's recently formed Paris Trading open the night and they're set to get A&R scouts jabbering with their indie pop melodies.
Meanwhile, the only City Rockers band absent from the night will be NME darlings The Ghost Frequency, who can't make it as they will be out on tour with Hadouken.
Tickets are available to the general public from See Tickets at £7.50 with places left aside for ITC pass holders. It runs from 8pm until 2am and the bands are ably supported by The Aftershow DJ's, led by Danny McNamara (Embrace).
