Epic indie-rockers The Temper Trap air snippets of new songs and discuss their forthcoming album.
The band are just days away from releasing their long-awaited second album and they've offered fans an insight into the process, as well as parts of new songs, in a video.
Members discuss the cleansing qualities of music, singer Dougy Mandagi saying that producing the work was like therapy for him, bassist Johnathon Aherne saying music is like a tree that "recycles out pollution and releases fresh oxygen".
They also discuss the impact of the guiding hand of producer Tony Hoffer, who has worked on albums by Beck, Air, Silversun Pickups, M83 and Foster the People.
You can also hear snippets of unheard songs 'Trembling Hands' and 'London's Burning'.
Check it out below. The Temper Trap will be released Friday 18 May.
