The White Stripes have confirmed their long rumoured appearance at this year's Glastonbury Festival.
The band will headline the Pyramid Stage on Friday, June 24.
The date is part of a world tour which is due to start in South America in May.
The Detroit duo have now completed the follow-up to 'Elephant', which has a tentative release date of June 13.
