Liverpool's The Wombats performed their hit single "Jump Into The Fog" on Conan.
The new single off their highly-acclaimed album This Modern Glitch (Bright Antenna/ILG), has been one of the band's biggest airplay records ever in the UK and Australia, marking their sixth Top 40 single overseas.
The single is proving to have similar success in the U.S. - not only is it resting comfortably at #1 on Sirius XM's "Alt Nation" countdown, but it just broke into the Top 40 Alternative Chart, marking their U.S. chart debut! The video, which you can watch HERE has over 2.25 million views on Youtube.
The performance on Conan comes at the end of a month long U.S. tour, which saw the trio performing to sold-out crowds in New York, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and more. The band is on their way back to the U.K. where they will gear up for the European festival circuit this summer.
The Wombats are "Murph" (lead guitar, lead vocals, keyboards), Dan Haggis (drums, backing vocals) and Tord Øverland-Knudsen (bass, backing vocals).
