The xx announce mini festivals

Hot off the back of their recent number one album Coexist, Mercury Music Prize winning band The xx are delighted to present Night + Day - their biggest and most ambitious headline events to date.

Situated in Lisbon, Berlin and on the outskirts of London to run next summer the band will be curating each of theb events.

"We searched high and low for unique and beautiful locations to stage these shows and picked the artists that we most respect and admire to join us," The xx explained.

"The events will run from early afternoon to early morning, with some of our favourite music (and food) to take you from day into night."

The UK event - at Osterley Park - will be The xx's biggest UK show so far and is the first time the National Trust park has been used for a gig.

The DAY + NIGHT shows are:

May 5 2013 - Lisbon Jardim da Torres de Belëm
May 18 2013 - Berlin Spreepark
June 23 - Osterley Park & House, Isleworth
