The Charlatans, Tim Burgess heads to the Fopp store on Manchester's Brown street on Thursday 8th December 2011 with his virtual cafe 'Tim Peaks Cafe' for an instore album listening party, Q&A and signing session from 6.30pm, to help promote the charity Tekstock.
Tim Burgess's imaginary diner started with Tim tweeting in the morning asking if people wanted a coffee. Turned out up to 10,000 did. Now the proprietor of a virtual cafe supporting Trekstock, Fopp's nominated charity, the café will decamp to Fopp in Manchester for an exclusive album playback with Tim on hand to talk fans through the tracks.
Entry will be on a first come first served basis for fans who buy a Trekstock Tim Peaks Diner mug from the store on the day.
