Tom Hanks reportedly told Adam Levine that he's a "die-hard fan" of The Voice.
The Maroon 5 frontman was having breakfast with Details magazine Editor-in-Chief Dan Peres at a New York eatery this week, when Tom interrupted to gush about the US version of the TV talent show.
The Hollywood actor reportedly revealed that he is a "die-hard fan" of the show, which sees budding musicians being coached by Adam, Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green.
Tom, who was also having breakfast at Forty Four at the Royalton, admitted that watching the NBC show is a family ritual.
"I sit home with my wife and watch the show," the star was overheard saying according to the New York Post.
Tom was in the restaurant having breakfast with Bart Freundlich - Julianne Moore's husband.
Adam recently responded to Simon Cowell's suggestion that there should be a sing-off between the winners of the big three reality singing competitions – The X Factor, American Idol and The Voice.
"Simon's just so clever," he told Access Hollywood. "He's so hell bent on competing with other shows. We're not really interested in a way… That's kind of a cool idea, actually, but I'm not so sure we're totally interested in what everyone else is doing."
