The 20-year recently posted his first hip-hop mixes online and said that his family are 'very supportive' of his musical aspirations.
The theatre student told the Washington Post, 'They do know about my career goals and they share my excitement. And they're also very supportive, which is something I appreciate.
'It goes without saying that the support of my parents is something that I will never take for granted and I am very thankful for.
'You know, my dad keeps an open mind.
'I've spent a lot of time trying to show him a lot of the music that inspires me. And he does keep an open mind.'
