Overview
The Hollywood star was rumoured to be starring in Bigelow's new movie, which will be set in the border zone between Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil.
A producer on the movie was recently quoted as saying: 'Tom Hanks is starring in the film.'
The producer added that filming on the movie would start 'sometime in mid-March'.
However a rep for the actor said to Gossip Cop: 'There is no deal yet.'
Hanks is rumoured to be starring in the the movie but it's 'not true' that the deal has been finalised.
Bigelow is best known for directing the smash-hit movie The Hurt Locker.
