Hollywood celebrated its best and brightest (even ones that ) at Sunday night's Oscars ... which is basically the complete opposite of what went down on Saturday night, when the 33rd Razzie Awards were handed out in the Continental Breakfast Room of the Holiday Inn Express in Hollywood.
It was a venue befitting such of a, uh, dubious award, which honors the year's worst achievements in film. And this year, the ceremony belonged to "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2," which took home Golden Raspberries for Worst Picture, Worst Screen Ensemble and Worst Director ... to name just a few.
Yes, "Breaking Dawn -- Part 2" came into the Razzies with a staggering 11 nominations, and it definitely lived up to the hype: In addition to the, uh, technical awards, its acting was equally lauded, as Kristen Stewart was named Worst Actress and Taylor Lautner took home the award for Worst Supporting Actor.
Of course, it wasn't just the "Twilight" folks who were honored at this year's Razzies: Perennial favorite Adam Sandler took home a pair of awards — "Worst Actor" and "Worst Screenplay" — for his work in "Jack and Jill," and first-time nominee Rihanna was named "Worst Supporting Actress" for her role in "Battleship."
Nominees and winners for the Razzies were determined by ballots emailed to more than 600 voting members, and the Worst Remake/Rip-Off or Sequel award — which also went to "Twilight" — was voted on by the folks at RottenTomatoes.com, where nearly 70,000 votes were cast.
