U2 paid tribute to the late E Street Band saxophonist Clarence Clemons as they performed in New Jersey last night (July 20).
Clemons, who was a long-time member of Bruce Springsteen's group, died last month shortly after suffering a stroke. He was 69.
Performing at New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, U2 incorporated Springsteen's 'Jungleland' into their song 'Moment Of Surrender'.
Rolling Stone reports that the band played a two and a half hour long gig career-spanning gig for fans. The group are currently touring America on the latest leg of their 360 Degree world tour.
Clemons' death came just days after he collaborated with Lady Gaga on her new single 'The Edge Of Glory'.
