U2 look as if they are making space for Glastonbury festival. In a post on their website it is suggested that a gap in the band's line-up the weekend of the festival may be the proof.
U2 was set to headline the daddy of all festivals earlier this year but pulled out after lead-singer Bono injured his back.
Organiser Michael Eavis has said previously that he would like to see the band play in 2011 but official headliners have yet to be announced.
But on U2 online all the band's manager Paul McGuinness would say was, 'We're certainly excited about our plans for next year. Watch this space!'.
