U2's massive 360 stage is to be dismantled and then sold off around the world.
The structure was designed by Bono with Willie Williams and Mark Fisher and toured the world for 110 concerts in 78 cities in 30 countries.
The stage was designed to support 185 tonnes of equipment. The claw carried a 14,000 square feet video screen seen by more than 7 million fans.
U2 plan fans will be able to immediately buy parts of the stage at the conclusion of the last show in Moncton, Canada on July 30, 2011.
It is expected that some of the larger items may be bought by big business for novelty value. For example, the claw covers 2727 square metres and can accommodate 2800 people.
