Vampire Weekend have settled a lawsuit regarding their 2010 album cover 'Contra'.
The band were sued for $2 million by Ann Kirsten Kennis, who appears on the front of their 2010 album 'Contra', after she claimed that they did not have permission to use the image, reports Rolling Stone.
Vampire Weekend also in the process of counter-suing photographer Tod Brody, claiming that he gave them a release form purportedly signed by Kennis, which authorised them to use the artwork.
Kennis has now settled with Vampire Weekend and XL Recordings for an undisclosed amount and the case was dismissed by a court in Los Angeles.
The lawsuit against Brody is said to be still pending.
