Overview
The star was recently kicked off the British skating show but he has told how a fall in the second week of the show almost scuppered his chances of performing a routine to the Bon Jovi track Always.
However he went against the doctor's advice and took to the ice anyway because it's the favourite song of his skating partner Katie Stainsby's mum, who has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
According to UK newspaper The Sun, he said: 'I couldn't read, I couldn't remember the routine. They were really working with me backstage to help me pull it off.
'They said: 'We'll pass you through.' And the doctor said I wasn't supposed to do it. But I said I had to do it for my partner's mum.'
