Victoria Beckham thinks her husband David Beckham deserves People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive title for many reasons, including the fact he is a real-life Romeo.
The 41-year-old fashion designer married the retired soccer player in 1999 and the pair share four children together.
David is People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive 2015 and fortunately he lives up to the acknowledgement in his private life, according to wife Victoria.
"David is very romantic and we regularly do lovely things to surprise each other," she smiled to People. "Both of us have to travel with work, but we always make time for each other and time for the children. We always support each other and our family."
Even though David has starred in countless campaigns for fashion brands the world over, Victoria doesn't think his looks are necessarily his most appealing quality.
Before they even started dating, Victoria was attracted to his sense of loyalty to loved ones.
"The first time I met David, nearly 20 years ago, we were at a football match," she recalled. "After the game all the other players were having a drink with their friends and David was standing with his mum and dad and his younger sister Joanne. Family is important to him.
"When he proposed he asked my dad first, which is such a respectful thing to do."
In response to receiving the 2015 Sexiest Man Alive award, David noted he was "very pleased to accept" such a "huge honour", but the modest star certainly doesn't see himself as a stud.
"I never feel that I'm an attractive, sexy person," he noted. "I mean I like to wear nice clothes and nice suits and look and feel good, but I don't ever think of myself that way."
