Ain't no music like new music, and on Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET, "RapFix Live" will boast a lineup that promises to drop a whole lot of musical news. Big K.R.I.T., Waka Flocka Flame and Schoolboy Q will all be joining show host Sway Calloway on the red couch, while Trinidad James checks in via Skype with a preview clip of his upcoming video, "Females Welcomed."
Big K.R.I.T. is prepping the release of his self-titled project, K.R.I.T. (King Remembered In Time). Already, the Mississippi rapper/producer has released "Shine On" with Bun B and the soul-drenched "R.E.M.," but on Wednesday, he will give fans further insight into the anticipated work. Similarly, Waka Flocka Flame will have a lot to discuss now that his third LP Flockaveli Pt. 2 is scheduled to drop later this year. In January, the Atlanta rapper told that the album was already complete and features beat contributions from Swizz Beatz, Wyclef Jean and Timbaland. There's no telling what other surprises Flocka has in store.
Schoolboy Q has new music on deck as well. The Top Dawg Entertainment MC blessed the Internet on Friday with "Yay Yay," the first release from his upcoming major-label debut, Oxymoron. The bouncy drug ode, which was produced by Boi-1da, details Q's activity in the streets before he hit it big in the studio. Is this one track indicative of what Q has lined up? What does he have up his sleeve for Oxymoron? Sway will ask these questions and more.
Immediately following "RapFix Live," fans will want to stay tuned for the world premiere of Trinidad James' new music video for "Females Welcomed" at 5 p.m. ET on MTV Jams, but before the clip drops, Mr. "All Gold Everything" will Skype into the show with a small teaser clip, and he'll break down the video for fans. You're not going to want to miss a second of it.
