WHITE LIES said they were "over the moon" to join their heroes onstage at the Shockwaves NME Awards Big Gig.
The band said they were really excited about playing with Franz Ferdinand and The Cure at the gig at the O2 Arena on February 26.
The Cure have been named Godlike Geniuses and will play a full 90-minute set.
Speaking to NME.com, frontman Harry McVeigh said: ."We're over the moon to be playing with The Cure, the first truly big band White Lies have played with.
"And I grew up listening to Franz Ferdinand and haven't seen any of their new material live, so I'm excited about that."
McVeigh added he was looking forward to renewing their acquaintance with the evening's opening act, Crystal Castles.
He said: "Crystal Castles are legends! We look forward to playing again with them after touring together last year. All in all, should be a brilliant night!"
