It was a whirlwind of a year for Kendal's four-piece Wild Beasts, with the release of their critically applauded debut album, Limbo, Panto last Summer, and wowing audiences at festivals including Reading and Leeds, Underage, Latitude and Green Man. Wild Beasts were also nominated for Uncut's Album of the year Award and The Guardian's Debut Album of the Year Award.
Following the release of Brave Bulging Buoyant Clairvoyants and tours as special guests to Foals and then Vampire Weekend, Wild Beasts have now just announced a full headline tour for February 2009.
The tour will kick off at Manchester's Deaf Institute on February 17th and will see them headline 93 Feet East in London on February 24th.
