Will.I.Am 'Hits Back' At Kanye West Over Black Eyed Peas 'Split' Comment

Will .I.Am has denied claims that Black Eyed Peas have split, following recent comments made by Kanye West.

The singer/producer announced back in July that he band were planning to take a break after their current tour.

“The @Bep will take a break after the beginning...just like we did from monkey business to the e.n.d...but it doesn't mean we stop creating,” he said.

Kanye West added to recent speculation that the band had now split during his appearance at the Austin City Limits Music Festival on Friday (September 16).

After being joined on stage by Black Eyed Peas' Fergie for 'All Of The Lights', West told the crowd: "Rest in peace to the Black Eyed Peas. You're gonna be missed."

Will.i.am has now responded to West's comment on Twitter: "maybe @kanyewest was stating the fact we will take a rest for a little bit… but we the @bep will never die…never…impossible."
