Overview
Now that Wyclef Jean isn't busy running for president of his native Haiti anymore, he can focus on the arts and making music. Via Twitter, 'Clef has released free downloads of two songs, "Election Time" and "Death Threats," both of which will appear on his upcoming album If I Were President: My Haitian Experience. Man, he really can't truly let go of that presidency dream, can he? Anyone following the story knows that 'Clef didn't meet eligibility requirements to run for election and he received death threats during his campaign, not to mention an assload of criticism from actor Sean Penn.
If I were President: My Haitian Experience is slated for a 2011 release.
