After back-to-back weeks of double eliminations, two more singers were sent packing from the "X Factor" stage.
CeCe Frey was finally sent home, while Diamond White found herself in the bottom two with Fifth Harmony. In the end, the judges voted 3 to 1 to keep Fifth Harmony in the competition, sending Diamond home. Her mentor Britney Spears cast the lone vote to save the young singer.
When asked about Diamond White's elimination, Britney said, "It was really disappointing. She's so incredibly talented and she has the future ahead of her.
As sad as it may be to see Diamond go, she added, "She's a bright girl so I feel like she will be OK."
After surviving two sing-offs, a barrage of criticism, and a seemingly endless supply of detractors, CeCe was Demi's final contestant in the Young Adults category to be sent home.
"CeCe went home and I'm really, really bummed," Lovato said. "It's really disappointing that more people didn't pull through for her when I know she has a really strong fanbase. It's not the last you're going to see of her."
Rocking leopard skin paint in solidarity with her contestant, Demi made it clear how close she had become with her contestant.
"I'm more sad to see her go because I feel like I developed a really great friendship with her and I genuinely care about her as a person. I'm bummed specifically because I don't want to say bye to her."
Now that all of her contestants have left the competition, we asked if there was anything that she would have differently.
"Looking back I think I should have paid more attention in the beginning auditions rather than thinking it's all going to come together towards the end," she said. "I feel like I definitely made mistakes but I did the best that I could, there's nothing else I could do better."
With the season coming to a close, we have to wonder: what are Demi's thoughts on another season? We've come to enjoy her dynamic personality and interactions with Simon, but will this be the end?
"It's just next year if I come back it would be different situation, you never know what can happen," says Demi.
