XX Teens release a new single, How To Reduce The Chances Of Being A Terror Victim through Mute on 25th February 2008.

This follows the release Darlin' which made it into the NME's singles of the year chart in December '07.
Released on 7" and download only, the single parodies the sort of governmentally sanctioned scare-mongering advice on terror prevention that would have you living the life of an anti-social hermit if it were to be believed.
Accompanied by a video that harks back to the days when a sturdy kitchen table and white sheet were regarded as sufficient protection against nuclear attack, How To Reduce The Chances Of Being A Terror Victim is an indictment against the current 'climate of fear'.
The band have also announced a number of live dates to coincide with the single release.
