XX Teens have been announced as main support on The Kills forthcoming tour, which includes a show at London's Astoria on 20th November.
The band are also set to perform as part of this year's BBC Electric Proms on 22nd October, tickets are free and go online today from www.bbc.co.uk/electricproms.
The prestigious BBC Electric Proms show, this year running in both Liverpool and London, will see the XX Teens celebrate the launch of the New Music Shorts 2008 competition and the premiere of the winning video for XX Teens' track Round with a show at the Roundhouse on a bill alongside Wild Beasts.

Having released their debut album, Welcome To Goon Island, in July of this year the band performed at this year's Glastonbury, Bestival, Sonar, Reading & Leeds and the iTunes Live Festival. The band were also joined onstage at the Underage festival by peace protester Brian Haw who also features on the final track of their album.
