Saras Dewi

Saras Dewi born 16 September 1983 in Denpasar, Bali. Working as an outstanding lecturer of Philosophy UI since 2006, teaches Eastern Philosophy. Columnist in various media, including Media Indonesia, Java Post, the Bali Post, Media Hindus, Raditya, Nusa Tenggara Post. Writing themes of social, cultural and political. Also often sent poems and has been published by the Media Indonesia and Bali Post. She has published two books, the first collection of poetry there are literature,the titles is 'Jiwa Putih' in 2004, while the second book is a nonfiction book about Human Rights, published in 2006 in collaboration with the European Union. In 2002 launched the album to sing with Star Records, with a single violet Chrysan Bali and album title. The album was nominated for an AMI (Indonesian Music Award) in the category, Best Ballad, and Best Single.
