Scotty Emerick Biography
Scotty Emerick is an American country music singer-songwriter, best known for his song-writing association with Toby Keith. Other songwriting credits include cuts by Willie Nelson, George Strait, and the band Sawyer Brown. Scotty recorded an album called The Coast Is Clear in 2003, though only the lead single "I Can't Take You Anywhere" and the song "The Coast Is Clear" were released on a single cd. The track "The Watch" was released as digital download only. A track called "What's Up With That" was featured on the soundtrack to the movie Broken Bridges in 2006. A new cd "Love Me Like My Dog" seems to only be available from CDBaby.com - tracks include "That's Sweet" which is reminiscent of ZZ Top. Emerick has been honored by the Key West Songwriter's Festival and appears to be on his way to the charts on his own.
