Stephen Gately Biography
Stephen Patrick David Gately (b. March 17, 1976 in Dublin, Ireland, d. October 10, 2009 in Majorca) was an Irish pop singer whose claim to fame was being one of the lead singers in the successful boy group Boyzone. The band split up in 2000 and Stephen focused on solo projects until Boyzone reunited in 2007. On 10 October 2009, Stephen was found dead after a night out during a holiday in Majorca.
