Stonebridge Biography
Released in October 2004 to overwhelming international acclaim, his debut album "Can't Get Enough" made StoneBridge a household name all over the world - The singles, "Put Em High" and "Take Me Away", both UK Top Ten hits, have been released in over 24 countries. Born in Stockholm, StoneBridge began Djing in the early eighties, spinning funk and disco at his own nightclub called Fellini. When the house sound of Chicago dropped in the mid eighties, StoneBridge made an official switch to house and started to remix tracks with a crew of other local DJs under the name Swemix. The reputation grew and soon StoneBridge began remixing international acts like De La Soul, Titiyo and Rebel MC. With his remix of Robin S' Show Me Love in 1993 that has become one of the biggest selling house records of all time, StoneBridge established himself as a world class remixer and producer and he has continued to work with a large ensemble of successful and famous artists, including Lenny Kravitz, Missy Elliott, Robbie Williams, Will Smith, Texas, Patti LaBelle to mention a few.
