The Jeopards Biography
Line Up 2009: Dread Max Taydsh - vocals, bass guitar, organ André Sobo - guitars, vocals Denis Gutzeit - Drums The idea to create this musical band once came into the head of Dread Max about 15 years ago. That's the man who always created bands but was never satisfied with them. Being all his life a singer and piano player he switched to bass guitar in The Jeopards. Then the drummer, Denis Gutzeit (who plays like Bonzo from Led Zep) was found. The guys tried different guitarists, until they found Andrè Sobo who is nothing else but a living Blues guitar icon of Hamburg. That was the start of the band. The Jeopards utilized a large repertoire of songs, written by Max in the style of 1960s. Yet the guys added to their set list numbers, written originally in the sxities and before. Starting from 2004 the band started to gig at almost every small and big club, pub or cafe in Hamburg and Norh Germany (including fab-famous club "Indra"), playing sometimes 3 gigs a week. Exploiting their "Back to the Sixties" image, sound and outfit, The Jeopards accumulated a large number of listeners and fans. Then the guys became e regular feature of different German TV shows including VIVA.
