The Sound And The Fury

The Sound and The Fury is most commonly known as a hard rock band from Kansas City, MO, which was founded in 1995, and broke up in March 2006. The band featured Jeff Wood (guitar and vocals), Aaron Ogle (guitar), Jay Kassen (bass guitar and vocals), and Nathan Russel (drums). Another band who uses the name is a hardcore/Christian band from Kokomo, IN. The band features Tyler Koronich, Benji Zirkle, Isaiah Baker, Derek Hoover, and Bill Tipton, and is currently on hiatis due to Tyler leaving the band. Yet another TSATF is a hip-hop duo who later added a DJ to their midst, emerged from the independent scene in Halifax, Nova Scotia in the early 2000s. They have released two albums so far: Hip Hop Scrabble (2003) and Transitions (2004). Talks of further recording have been prevalent, yet the two emcees -- Martin, aka DJ NES; and Mike, aka Furious -- have been separately traveling the world.
