Tony Burrows Biography
Tony Burrows is a British session vocalist who sang Edison Lighthouse's "Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes)," White Plains' "My Baby Loves Lovin'," the Pipkins' ridiculous "Gimme Dat Ding," and the Brotherhood of Man's "United We Stand," all of which were big hits in both the U.S. and U.K. in 1970. In The sixties Burrows started as a member of the Kestrals, then moved on to form The Ivy League which changed name to The Flowerpot Men. By the seventies Burrows had teamed up with former Kestrals member Roger Greenaway to form The Pipkins. Then onto the singing group Brother Hood of Man. Burrows also sang backing to many of Elton John's early recordings.
