U2 & Green Day Biography
U2 & Green Day teamed up in 2006 to record a cover version of "The Saints Are Coming" (originally by The Skids). It was performed at the New Orleans Superdome at halftime of the first New Orleans Saints home game after Hurricane Katrina devastated the city. The song was released as a single and is also featured on U2's singles compilation known as "U218 Singles".
