Divit - A Reflection lyrics
A Refelection
I came over with plans to change the present,
I just couldn't take being friends
I saw it in your eyes; you couldn't help but make me believe
that this could happen again
Even though we swore that we were at an end,
This situation's left me hanging by a thread.
I can't hold on any longer
Trying to change the facts (?) that pass us by
Now occasionally to ask the reasons why.
I remember when we were,
Making out underneath the porch light
Holding you in my arms staring at the starry starry night
Saying how, we really miss each other
This could be forever; maybe we should give it one last try
I know things could have been a little bit easier,
But easy comes as easy goes
I guess I have to take each day for what it brings (?) us,
Even if it brings us to our knees.
I hope tomorrow's laughter heals the sick in me
I try to fake a smile today just to please them.
I can't take this any longer,
And yet I can't leave it alone.
This reflection has been burned into my heart; I look back and say-
I remember when we were,Divit - A Reflection - http://motolyrics.com/divit/a-reflection-lyrics.html
Making out underneath the porch light
Holding you in my arms staring at the starry starry night
Saying how, we really miss each other
This could be forever; maybe we should give it one last try
You got what you wanted,
Love and sex and happiness.
It's what you've always wanted,
It's what I couldn't give.
I hope it's what you wanted,
I hope it's everything... you dreamed it to be.
You couldn't have waited,
You( ??? )
Well I hope you're happy
Na na na
Na na na na na na
Na na na na na na na
Na na na na na na na
Making out underneath the porch light
Holding you in my arms staring at the starry starry night
Saying how, we really miss each other
This could be forever; maybe we should give it one last try
Thinking about how we were together
The missing parts and pieces finally put back into their place.
Walking around, another night I wonder,
Would there be another try (?), who could ever say goodnight?
