"Spy On Me" is about surveillance, and the Patriot Act which was used often as an excuse to spy on innocent citizens. It protests against what many see as the big brother state mentality of certain Western governments who then accuse Islamic countries of being "unfree". The song sounds like an Indian snake charmer song, consisting of a high pitched Frederick Roussel singing "Spy On Me" / Baby put a wire on me". The song is an interlude and is not one of the more prominent ones on the McPeace album.
